Last night Hamar´s women´s team became the Iceland Express league Champions for the first time in club history. Reigning Icelandic Champions of KR managed to spoil the celebration a bit with a 57-63 win in Hveragerði, Hamars homecourt.
Althoug one round is still left in regular season play Hamar are league Champions so not far away are the playoffs and Hamar along with Keflavík will sit out in the first round being the top two teams in the league.
