UMFN Center Egill Jónasson might be out of play with UMFN until Christmas due to surgery the player must have on his knee. This is the second Big Man UMFN has lost to injury for earlier this week forward Páll Kristinsson had a accident keeping him from the court for at least 4-6 weeks.
Jónasson joined UMFN this summer after coming back to Iceland from School in Denmark and hoped the surgery he had last year to his knee would do the trick but that was not the case. On the 1st of October Jónasson will go under the knife and after that doctors will determine how long he needs to recover.
